NPC Democrats will have a booth at the Nez Perce County Fair from September 24-27 2026. We’re looking for volunteers to work short shifts at the booth. This is a fun way to support the local party and engage with the community.
Area Democrats Stuff 1,000 Letters to Unregistered Voters
In July, the Idaho Democratic Party enlisted local parties to encourage 45,000 unregistered likely Democrats to register and vote. North Central Idaho Democrats organized letter-stuffing events, where volunteers prepared 1,000 personalized mailings with voter registration forms. The efforts fostered community engagement and conviviality among participants.
District 6 and 7 Candidates Join Forces to Fight Hunger at Idaho Foodbank
On July 30th, legislative candidates from Districts 6 and 7 collaborated to address regional food insecurity by volunteering at the Idaho Foodbank in Lewiston. They packaged 2,000 pounds of pasta for local distribution, emphasizing the importance of community involvement in combatting hunger, a shared concern transcending political boundaries.

The Idaho Democratic Party aims to reach 45,000 unregistered potential voters in Idaho. Nez Perce Democrats will host an event on August 16 at the Lewiston Community Center to prepare information packets for 500 local voters. Participants will stuff envelopes and add personal notes to encourage voter registration and participation.
No Kings 3.0 – Clarkston – March 28 – Be There!
Clarkston, WA will host a No Kings 3.0 street rally on March 28, from noon to 2 pm, anticipating over 500 attendees. Organized by Asotin County Democrats and supported by the LC Valley Indivisible Chapter, the nonviolent event will feature signs, music, and essential services. Attendees can register online or volunteer.
Celebrating Veterans Day: Highlights from the Lewiston Parade
On November 15, NPC Dems participated in the Lewiston Veterans Day Parade, celebrating under clear skies. Several participants reflected on the camaraderie, community support for veterans, and positive public reactions.
Nez Perce Democrats Support Habitat for Humanity Project
On November 3rd, Nez Perce County Democrats volunteered with L-C Valley Habitat For Humanity, working to complete a home for a deserving family. The team worked on landscaping and construction, feeling fulfilled after their morning’s efforts, with plans to return in spring.
Join Us to Help Fight Hunger at the Idaho Foodbank on November 22
Food insecurity has worsened due to the government shutdown and lack of SNAP funding, increasing demand at food pantries. Nez Perce Democrats are organizing a volunteer event at the Idaho Foodbank on November 22, 2025. Ten to fifteen volunteers are needed, and online registration with specific steps is required.
