NPC Democrats will have a booth at the Nez Perce County Fair from September 24-27 2026. We’re looking for volunteers to work short shifts at the booth. This is a fun way to support the local party and engage with the community.
The Lewis County Democrats invite everyone to the 90th Annual Kamiah BBQ Days on September 5th in downtown Kamiah, Idaho. Participants can join the parade at 10:30 am. Our theme is “Democrats will ‘float your boat’!” The event includes a booth, live music, local vendors, and a free BBQ dinner, celebrating 90 years of tradition.
On September 7, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, LC Valley Indivisible and Nez Perce County Democrats will co-host a Labor Day Rally at Vernon Park in Clarkston. The event will feature information tables, music, and themes centered on worker rights. Attendees may also protest peacefully along the sidewalk.
The Idaho / Washington Democratic Women will meet on Monday, September 14 2026, at the Hells Canyon Grand Hotel in Lewiston. Democratic candidates, including Kaylee Peterson, have been invited to provide updates on their campaigns. The meeting is open to all, with lunch available.
In July, the Idaho Democratic Party enlisted local parties to encourage 45,000 unregistered likely Democrats to register and vote. North Central Idaho Democrats organized letter-stuffing events, where volunteers prepared 1,000 personalized mailings with voter registration forms. The efforts fostered community engagement and conviviality among participants.
The next meeting of the Nez Perce Democrats Central Committee will be held on Wednesday, August26, 2026 at 5:30pm at the AFL-CIO Labor Temple, 1618 Idaho St in Lewiston. All are welcome to attend.
On August 20, LC Valley Indivisible held a pop-up protest in Lewiston, attracting several dozen participants. The rally focused on two current issues: ICE’s plan to buy electric-shock gloves and health concerns for service members on the USS Abraham Lincoln.
