Area Democrats Stuff 1,000 Letters to Unregistered Voters

In July, the Idaho Democratic Party enlisted local parties to encourage 45,000 unregistered likely Democrats to register and vote. North Central Idaho Democrats organized letter-stuffing events, where volunteers prepared 1,000 personalized mailings with voter registration forms. The efforts fostered community engagement and conviviality among participants.

On July 30th, legislative candidates from Districts 6 and 7 collaborated to address regional food insecurity by volunteering at the Idaho Foodbank in Lewiston. They packaged 2,000 pounds of pasta for local distribution, emphasizing the importance of community involvement in combatting hunger, a shared concern transcending political boundaries.

Highlights from the Nez Perce Democrats Annual Picnic

We held our Annual Picnic at Hereth Park June 17, where around 60 attendees enjoyed a potluck dinner, and a lively Dessert Auction that raised $2,400 for local candidates. Candidates for Idaho Legislature shared their platforms, with Dr. Becky Sundin Mitchell, running for Education Superintendent, as a special guest.
