On November 3rd, Nez Perce County Democrats volunteered with L-C Valley Habitat For Humanity, working to complete a home for a deserving family. The team worked on landscaping and construction, feeling fulfilled after their morning’s efforts, with plans to return in spring.

Food insecurity has worsened due to the government shutdown and lack of SNAP funding, increasing demand at food pantries. Nez Perce Democrats are organizing a volunteer event at the Idaho Foodbank on November 22, 2025. Ten to fifteen volunteers are needed, and online registration with specific steps is required.

Nez Perce County Democrats invite the community to a Habitat for Humanity build on November 3rd from 8 AM to noon, supporting the homeless and hungry by constructing a new home.
