Like thousands of locations around the county, Clarkston, WA will host a No Kings 3.0 street rally/protest on Saturday, March 28, from noon until 2 pm on the sidewalks at 5th and Bridge Streets (by Albertsons).
This nationwide event is expected to be one of the largest single-day nonviolent protests in US history. In Clarkston, the organizers anticipate over 500 attendees from Clarkston, Lewiston, and surrounding communities.
Asotin County Democrats are coordinating this event with the support of the local LC Valley Indivisible Chapter.
Crowd support during the event will include loaner signs, music, information tables, a First Aid station and more. This rally is to be a non violent and non confrontational protest. Protest guidelines are available upon request, on various group Facebook pages, and also as a hand out at the March 28th protest itself.
Persons planning to attend are encouraged to register at Mobilize.us – https://www.mobilize.us/nokings/event/902490/ .
There are a few volunteer positions still open for the event. If you are interested in helping with this event please send a note to lcvalleyindivisible@gmail.com.
On March 28th, rise up, take to the streets, and say it loud: no thrones, no crowns, no kings. We’re not watching history happen—we’re making it. Join us.
