The Idaho Democratic Party has identified 45,000 unregistered voters in Idaho who are likely Democrats! They need our help to mail information to all those potential voters telling them how to register and vote in November!
Nez Perce Democrats have volunteered to prepare information packets for 500 unregistered voters… many of them local to Nez Perce County and Lewiston.
We’ll gather at the Lewiston Community Center from 1:00pm until 5:00pm on Sunday, August 16. Our tasks will be to:
- Hand address 500 envelopes
- Add a personal note of encouragement to pre-printed letters
- Assemble a packet – pre-printed letter, voter registration form, pre-addressed envelope – all in a hand-addressed envelope
- Seal the envelope
This is a great opportunity for us to let potential voters know about Democrats and how important it is for them to participate in our democracy!
We’ll also have some cold drinks and cookies on hand.
Please plan to join us for some or all of the afternoon session. We’ll have some fun while we help “get out the vote”!
