The Idaho Democratic Party is hosting hearings for residents to discuss proposed Medicaid cuts. The event will take place in Moscow on February 14th, from 2 to 4 PM at the 1912 Center. Attendees can share how these cuts affect their families and communities, contributing to the legislative process.

A few hundred people attended a rally in front of the Idaho State Capitol in November, 2025 to support the start of signature gathering for an abortion rights ballot initiative.

The Reproductive Freedom and Privacy Act seeks to end Idaho’s abortion ban and ensure private medical decisions remain between individuals and their doctors. The initiative has gathered over 63,000 of the necessary signatures for the November 2026 ballot. A local opportunity to sign on is available on February 27.
