The Idaho Democratic Party is holding hearings around the state for Idahoans to give their input on current and potential cuts to Medicaid. The closest one in our area will be in Moscow from 2 – 4 pm on Saturday, Feb. 14th at the 1912 Center (412 E. 3rd St). This is a chance to tell Idaho lawmakers who will be there how Medicaid cuts impact your family and community.
Over the next decade, the “One Big Beautiful Bill Act” is expected to cut federal funds for Idaho Medicaid by $4.3 billion and reduce Idaho Medicaid’s enrollment by as much as 40,000 people… Another 58,000 Idahoans are at risk of losing Medicaid expansion coverage because of the bill’s work requirements…
