NPC Dems had a very visible spot at the Nez Perce County Fair, September 18 to 21. We conducted a “garbanzo bean poll” on key issues, attracting nearly 1,000 participants. Conversations with young attendees were particularly encouraging. Volunteers played a crucial role, making the event a success.

Lewis-Clark State College to celebrate United States Constitution Day on Wednesday, September 17

The Social Sciences Division of LCSC is hosting a panel discussion on the 14th Amendment and Birthright Citizenship from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in Sacajawea Hall, Room 115. Panelists include esteemed faculty members. The event is free and public, emphasizing the significance of the Fourteenth Amendment in contemporary legal issues.

Over 100 local Democrats gathered at Vernon Park in Clarkston on Labor Day to support “workers over billionaires.” The event featured petition drives, including support for a Senate candidate and legislation on school vouchers and abortion rights. Candidate Carmela Conroy addressed the crowd, sharing her family’s union legacy.
