Save the date!
On Monday, September 7, 2026, LC Valley Indivisible and Nez Perce County Democrats will co-host a Labor Day Rally in the Park at Vernon Park, 615 Chestnut Street in Clarkston.
The rally will include information tables, music, worker rights themes and more. This will be a great way to gather more casually and meet some like-minded folks.
In addition, there will be a fundraiser for the LC Valley Youth Resource Center. Cash or checks will be accepted.
Some additional details
- A cooling station and first aid station will be available during the event.
- Attendees should bring their own chair.
- There are no restrooms in this park.
And if you want to protest…
Attendees may also choose to protest labor themes or other topics on the 6th Street sidewalk in front of Vernon Park. Please note: Due to narrow sidewalk on 6th Street if you prefer a chair to sit in while protesting, please plan to place your chair in the grassy area above the sidewalk.
This is to be a peaceful protest and one of the requirements is to not block passage on the sidewalks by others. Your understanding is appreciated
