After a very busy June, the LCVI core team decided to pivot to a one-day voting and voter education theme day of action for July. This is just ahead of Washington State primaries but also a stepping stone to upcoming vital mid-term elections across the country too.
One Day. Two Events. Your Choice.
Both sign-waving on sidewalks AND task oriented postcard writing are options on Saturday, July 18th and both are from 1-3 pm in Clarkston. The events – one inside and one outside – are near each other so motivated attendees can even split their time between the two if they want.
These events are designed to be voting and voter education related. Attendees are encouraged to bring signs matching those themes or to use a voting themed loaner sign available at the sidewalk rally.
Voter education materials will be available during the sidewalk rally and our fan/mister will be on site too. Cold water will also be available. Note: The east side of the street/corners will likely have sun that time of day while the west side will benefit from shade provided by the 6th Street buildings. So you will have options to avoid the sun.
