An event open to everyone (not just students!)
On Thursday, July 23, 2026, Lewis Clark State College will host their 5th Annual Student Democracy Day. The event is open to everyone, but pre-registration is required (see below).
The full day event will include activities on campus and around Lewiston.
Beginning at 8:30am, there will be a fun activity to introduce students of all ages to some key concepts linked to America 250 and civic engagement using games and content based on political science.
Next, the group will visit the Lewiston City Hall and mayor’s office, followed by a tour of the Lewiston Tribune.
Lunch will be at the Lewiston Public Library. After lunch, the group will go behind the scenes to the manufacturing building at Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories. The event will end around 4:30pm.
