This is a reminder from the Idaho Democratic Party.
The November 4 election will shape the future of our schools, city services, and public safety. The leaders we choose this fall will make decisions that impact our daily lives and the communities we call home.
These elections are nonpartisan, but the values we care about are always on the ballot. When we vote, we help elect leaders who share our vision for strong schools, safe neighborhoods, and opportunity for all.
In Idaho, you must request an absentee ballot every year. Even if you have voted by mail before, you will not automatically receive one this year. Ballots will start being mailed on September 25, and the last day to request yours is October 24..
Do not wait. Request your ballot now so you are ready to vote as soon as ballots begin arriving.
Voting by mail is simple and secure. Life can be unpredictable. Work schedules, family obligations, or sudden events can make it difficult to get to the polls. Having your ballot at home gives you the flexibility to vote on your own schedule and the confidence that your vote will be counted.
Together, we have the power to shape the future of our communities. Thank you for taking action and standing up for the Idaho you believe in.
Residents in Nez Perce County may also request an absentee ballot:
- In person at the Courthouse – office of the Auditor and Recorder (Patty Weeks), 1230 Main St., Lewiston
or - Online at http://nezpercecountyelections.gov .
