The League of Women Voters of the LC Valley and the LC Valley Chamber of Commerce are hosting a Candidate Forum October 14 from 6:30 p.m. to 7:45 at the Lewiston City Library.
The candidates for Lewiston Mayor and City Council have agreed to participate. Keith Havens will be the moderator and will introduce the candidates.
The organizers are asking that members of the community submit questions to be asked of the candidates. They suggest that questions be phrased so they could be answered within a 1 minute time limit. You may send your question to lcvcandidateforum@gmail.com.
Due to the number of candidates running for City Council, all submitted questions may not get asked, but the organizers will attempt to touch on all areas of concern that are raised.
A reminder: Pre-registration to vote ends October 24 and request for absentee ballot deadline is October 24.
