NPC Dems have a booth at the Nez Perce County Fair starting today, September 18, through Sunday, September 21.  Our booth is in the northeast corner of the main pavilion, just across from the concession stand.  A rotating crew of volunteers are staffing the booth.  Stop by and say hello!

We’re Counting Beans

Most of us are not accountants, but we will be bean counters this weekend.  At the booth we have 18 mason jars, each labeled with a different issue facing our country.  The issues include local concerns, like school choice, regional concerns, like access to health care and Medicaid, and national concerns, like the national economy.  

Anyone visiting the booth will be given three garbanzo beans to drop in the jars that represent the issues they are most concerned about.  After the fair, we’ll count the beans in each jar and report on which issues were the highest priority.
