Nez Perce County Democrats will meet on Wednesday, May 27 at 5:30pm in the AFL-CIO Building at 1618 Idaho St in Lewiston. The main agenda item will be the reorganization of the party. Every two years, following the primary election, Democratic precinct members gather to elect local party leadership positions.
During this meeting we will elect new officers:
- Chairman
- Vice-Chair
- Secretary
- Treasurer
- State Committee Man
- State Committee Woman
These roles matter. Local party leaders help organize communities, support candidates, recruit volunteers, raise resources, and build the strong local teams Democrats need to win.
All Precinct Captains are expected to attend. If you can’t attend, please arrange for another PC to vote your proxy. (Here’s the list of Precinct Captains.)
