On Sunday, June 14, the Committee for the First Amendment will be hosting Rise Up, Sing Out: A Concert for the First Amendment, an uplifting evening of song, solidarity, and action.
This special 90 minute livestream event will feature an all-star lineup including Jane Fonda, Patti Smith, Bette Midler, Rufus Wainwright, Joy Reid, Wilson Cruz, Broadway Inspirational Voices, and more.
The concert will celebrate the freedoms guaranteed by our First Amendment—of speech, religion, press, assembly, and protest—and the people power that both fuels these rights and is essential to guarantee them.
Communities across the country will gather for local watch parties to livestream the 90-minute concert. Two events are happening in our area. All are welcome to attend. Advance registration is encouraged.
Clarkston, WA
LC Valley Indivisible is sponsoring a Watch Party for the concert from 4:00pm until 7:00pm at the Hell’s Canyon Boat Club, 2550 Riverside Drive in Clarkston (Corner of Highway 129 and Post Lane on right, past the Swallows area, when headed south toward Asotin). The event will include a potluck dinner, so bring a dish to share.
This LC Valley Indivisible event is a family friendly, inside event. Air conditioned with 2 restrooms and a deck with a beautiful view of the Snake River. There are two parking lots and the organizers ask that the upper lot be used for folks with mobility issues.

In addition to the live-streamed event there will be other music, information stations, voter education items, a poster making section and more. Bottled water will be available.

Indivisible Moscow is also sponsoring a Watch Party beginning at 4:30 pm in the Fiske Room at the 1912 Center (412 E. 3rd St) in Moscow, ID. Bring family and friends! Music, food, and fun provided!
