Lisa Puckett has reported that the Cash Drive raised $1,230. Great results, and thanks to everyone who donated.
Nez Perce County Democrats are sponsoring a fundraising drive to support the Community Action Partnership Food Bank in Lewiston. Donating cash to the Food Bank allows them to purchase food at a discount, effectively providing up to three times what a donation of food would provide.
In 2024, the CAP Food Bank distributed 1,000,000 pounds of food to 8,000 families and individuals in northern Idaho.
With costs for everyday items increasing lately, food banks are seeing increased demand for their services. Your donations can help. Our last quarterly fundraiser raised over $800.
Lisa Puckett is collecting funds through April 29, 2026 and will deliver them to the Food Bank on April 30.
