Once again this year, Nez Perce County Democrats are sponsoring a fundraising drive to support the Community Action Partnership Food Bank in Lewiston.  Donating cash to the Food Bank allows them to purchase food at a discount, effectively providing up to one and a half times what a donation of food would provide.  

In 2024, the CAP Food Bank distributed 1,000,000 pounds of food to 8,000 families and individuals in northern Idaho.

Food banks have the greatest need for donations in the first quarter of the year, so we will be promoting this effort through the end of January, 2026.
