Attracting young voters into the Democratic Party is an important activity for all local parties across the country. With that goal in mind, several of our members spent a day at Lewis Clark State College in Lewiston recently, participating in “Welcome Back Day” on August 20,2025.

Pictured above are Kathy Dawes, Molly Steele, Bill Schreib, and Pete Gertonson. During the event they talked to several dozen students about local Democrat activities and the Young Democrats organization. They also passed out information to students about Kaylee Peterson’s campaign and collected signatures for the “Not One Dollar More for Education Vouchers” petition.
