The ID/WA Democratic Women will meet at 11:30am on Monday, September 8 at the Hells Canyon Grand Hotel in Lewiston. The featured speaker this month is Kendal Shaber, a member of the board of the Idaho Justice Project.

Come to this luncheon meeting and learn more about this troubling fact.
Kendal will be speaking about the key findings in the Idaho Justice Project’s report: Women’s Incarceration in Idaho: The Problem and a Path Forward, which was released earlier this year. She will discuss how Idaho became the lead incarcerator of women in the world and the different policy solutions that could rectify this situation.
The event is open to all – men and women alike. ID/WA Democratic Women is a very informal organization. There is no charge to attend. Lunch is available from the hotel buffet.
